We start at Sesto at the Bike Academy Sextner Dolomiten towards the main village of Sesto to the valley station of Monte Elmo cable car. By cable car, we go up to Monte Elmo and take a nice path to Rifugio Gallo Cedrone hut (2,150) and then along a wide, easy cycle path to the Rifugio Sillianer hut at 2,450 metres. After a short coffee-break we go on until Monte Arnese (2,500), either cycle or walk around this to the left. From there, we can enjoy sweeping views on the Tre Cime di Lavaredo and the Sesto Dolomites and also towards the Großglockner to the north. The entire Demuth passage (2,550) up to Passo Silvella (2,400) is about 7 km long and technically very difficult with narrow S2/S3/S4 trails and several points, where it’s necessary to carry or push the bicycle according to the different technical conditions. We go in direction “Kleinarl” for about 5km where the single trail “Villpoan trail” starts until Malga Nemes Hut (1877).

There we visit Otti&Klara and of course, we will eat a typical South-Tyrolean dish.

After our lunch, we continue to Passo Monte Croce, passing “Scharzsee” towards the campsite. The trail from there is again a cool, partially challenging trail, with lots of roots, passing the campsite to the valley station of the “Tre Cime di Lavaredo cable car”. We return on the Sesto circular path back to Sesto to the Bike Academy Sexnter Dolomiten.

“Trail Highlight in the Dolomites of Sesto”

We show you the best trails!

We start at the Bike Academy Sextner and we go up with the cable car to Monte Elmo (2,040) and at the mountain station, we take the path to Rifugio Gallo Cedrone (2,150) and further to Rifugio Sillianer (2,447). At Rifugio Sillianer we enjoy the fantastic 360° view on the Dolomites of Sesto and the glaciers in Austria. From here, the trail continues up to Monte Arnese. We continue right along the “Monte Elmo Trail” to “Negerdorf”. 800 metres of fantastic trail fun with spectacular views of the Dolomites of Sesto. We go over the “Molini Trail” to the Trojer farms (1,550) and from there, we continue to the valley station of “Tre Cime di Lavaredo cable car”. We make a little break at “Rifugio Pollaio” and then we go up to “Orto del Toro” (2,040). From there, we continue to Malga Klammbach (1,944) for lunch, because South Tyrolean dumplings and Kaiserschmarren are already waiting for us. Then it goes over the "Klammbach Trail" (insider tip) to the valley station of the “Tre Cime di Laverdo cable car”.We take the “Tre Cime di Laverdo cable car” again to “Orto del Toro” (2,040) and along the new “Erla Trail” we go back to the valley station of “Tre Cime di Laverdo cable car”, then along the Sesto circular path, passing “Pollaio Hut” to the valley station of “Prati di Croda Rossa” funicular (1,350).We go up with the funicular to Prati di Croda Rossa (1,900) and take the “Schellab Trail”. This is a pure flow trail for around 5 km until the valley station of Croda Rossa funicular.

Again we go up with the funicular to Prati di Croda Rossa and take the “Croda Rossa Trail” (technical trail) to the valley station Prati di Croda Rossa cablecar. Before we return , we go to “Gästhäusl Putschall” and Fred, our bike-guide, serves us a fresh, cold beer. Then we return to the starting point Bike Academy Sextner Dolomiten .

Start in Sesto at the Bikeacademy Sextner Dolomiten in the direction of Moos to the cable car Rotwand. Via the forest road No. 17, then No.15 it goes medium steep up to the prati di Croda Rossa past the Rudihütte (1,950). Now it goes over the marked Standschützentrail (S2) partly quite flowy towards Signaue. After crossing the main road, take trail no. 13A through the Sesto Caravan Park to the passo monte Croce, then briefly take trail no. 131 to the intersection with trail no. 149, which you follow past the Toad Lakes to the malga Coltrondo(1,880). There, via path no. 156, continue to the Nemesalm and via the new alpine path to the Klammbachalm (1,944). Here we have a lunch break with typical Tyrolean delicacies. Strengthened, we ride to the nearby Erla Trail (S2), a very naturally designed bike trail. Once we have reached the bottom, we roll via Moos back to Sesto to the Bikeacademy Sextner Dolomiten.

E-BIKE TOUR IN THE BRAIES DOLOMITES WITH VIEW ON THE TRE CIME DI LAVAREDO

Starting from the Bike Academy Sextner Dolomiten, on the bike path to “Innichen/San Candido”; continue to “Toblach/Dobbiaco” and then turn to the left (on the cycle path) towards Cortina and until “Schluderbach/Carbonin”. After the holiday resort "Ploner" you reach on a forest road (after 7 km and about 1 hour) the “Plätzwiese”Prato Piazza”. Along the alp yo have a fantastic view to the mountains “Hohe Gaisl/ Croda d’Ampezzo” and the “Dürrenstein/Picco di Vallandro” and the "Tre Cime di Lavaredo" After a short rest in the “Plätzwiese” hut it goes to the hotel “Hohe Gaisl”,on the traveling road until after Ponticello / Brückele Immediately after the parking area the trail continues to “Ausserprags/Braies di Fuori” (about 10 km). From there down towards the village of “Toblach/Dobbiaco” and back to the starting point Bike Academy Sextner Dolomiten

Tips: from the “Plätzwiese/Prato Piazza” you can also go to the “Strudelkopf/Monte Specie” (2,400m); about 300 meters of altitude with a fantastic views at the Dolomites

EMTB & MTB ALPS TOUR with

“Visit Hannes & Martina at Nemes Alp”

Start from the Bikeacademy Sextner Dolomiten in the direction of Sexten, then slightly uphill to the Mitterberg. After a short climb, it is relatively flat towards to the Nemes Alm. After about 20 minutes we reach a plateau is called the "Saumad" (1.750) where we turn left to the Klammbach-Alm (1.940). This is also a demanding stretch, where after around 30 minutes we are enjoying the fantastic view on the “Tre Cime di Lavaredo”. Arrived at Malga “Klammbach”, we make a break and enjoy the typical South-Tyrolean dishes from Hannes & Martina. When “Leon” plays with his accordion, we have the perfect flair.

Above the Klammbach-Almhütte we take the wide forest road to the Nemesalm (1,900), alternatively we sometimes use the hiking trail No. 13 this trail is partly more demanding with a carrying passage of about 100 meters, but in any case a highlight.Shortly before the Nemes alp we take the wide route no. 146 into the high valley. After around 2 km, we turn right to Coltrondo Hut.
From Coltrondo Hut, we take the road for about 500m and then we turn right into the forest along hiking trail no. 149 towards Passo Monte Croce, initially a challenging technical S/2 trail in parts (as an alternativ we can take an easier way which passes the “Krötensee”), then on the forest road up to the fork Alpe Nemes. Arrived at the crossroad Alpe Nemes/Malga Coltrondo, we turn right into hiking trail no. 130 towards “Schwarzsee” and then we turn left, towards the campsite. The trail from here, is a cool, partially challenging trail with lots of roots passing the campsite to the valley station of the “Tre Cime di Lavaredo cable car” and the “Pollaio Hut”. We turn right to “Pollaio Hut” and on the Sesto circular path, we return to the Bikeacademy Sextner Dolomiten.

Before we return to the hotel, we make a short stop at “Gästhäusl Luis Alm” and drink a fresh, cool “Pustertaler” beer, to finish the day.

E-BIKE TOUR IN THE BRAIES DOLOMITES

WITH VIEW ON THE TRE CIME DI LAVAREDO

We start at Bikeacademy Sextner Dolomiten along the cycle path towards San Candido (1,150 m), then we continue up to Dobbiaco (1,210). From there, we turn left into Val di Landro Valley towards Cortina, passing Lago di Dobbiaco (1,260) and Lago di Landro (1,410) with view on the Tre Cime di Lavaredo as far as Carbonin (1,450). After “Ploner” holiday complex, we continue along a forest road for about 7 km and after 1 hour to the high plateau of the Braies Dolomites, on Prato Piazza (2,040). The Croda Rossa d’Ampezzo, the Tre Cime di Lavaredo and the Picco di Vallandro “follow” us on our way. Once at the top, after a short rest at the rustic Malga Prato Piazza hut we continue to Hotel Hohe Gaisl and turn left onto the road towards Ponticello (1,490). Immediately after the car park, we take hiking trail no. 37. This occasionally lively trail brings us to Braies di Fuori and from here we continue for around 1 km along the road and then we turn right onto the cycle path towards Villabassa, Dobbiaco back to the starting point Sesto/Moso, to Bike Hotel Alpenblick ****s.
